March 7 - 9, 2023: River Junction Recreation Area in the Withlacoochee State Forest

This post is a short one basically functioning as a bookmark. Since the Florida water districts have a seven consecutive day camping limit we needed to go somewhere for a couple of days after leaving Green Swamp before returning to Jane's parents for her Kansas sister's visit. River Junction, where we stayed during the winter of 2022, provided that bridging location. We ended up staying in the exact same campsite and I rode the same forest roads as last winter so you can reference last year's post for the camper picture and further information.

We will be staying at Jane's parents' and her Florida brother's houses for family visits over the next several weeks before starting our trek back north. My next post will be about those visits and a campground stopover on our travels back north.
